Ballerup Taekwondo Klub

ballerup taekwondo club was found sep­tem­ber 2nd in 1974 as the first taekwondo club on zealand. the club's korean name is hwa-rang, which means flowering youth. the club is a non-profit association run by volunteers. among them some fiery souls who are motivated toward the vision of making the best taekwondo club in denmark. the training takes place in the club's own facilities where also floor ball and fitness training is possible. the training in all-round so that the students learn all aspects within taekwondo and martial arts in general. therefore the students will meet e.g. self-defense techniques that has its origin in maybe aikido and jiu-jitsu. the club participates in national and inter­national tournaments with both beginner students and top athletes. many students, of whom the youngest were 12 years old, have won the danish cham­pionship. national team members from the club have won the euro­pean championship many times as well as korean open and many other international c
