the grocer is primarily a space for people to come and make connections, with old friends and new friends through great quality food and coffee, whether to stay on site or takeaway. we are a grocer, bakery and café at the heart of a large and active village where people can pop for a pint of milk, stay for a chat and coffee, or settle down for a few hours’ work in a small, separated workspace area. managing a mix of everyday basics to all out little luxuries. including all the ‘village store’ lines, both food and non-food, eg papers and stationery, tobacco and alcohol etc. then with a good selection of ‘every day essentials’ produce from local farms and suppliers.
