baltic information society analysis centre (lithuanian: baltijos informacinės visuomenės analizės centras) began its activities in the autumn of 2013 and was officially founded in january 2014 as a not-for-profit think tank. we identified the need to enhance the understanding of evolving technology and its impact on every facet of human life, and decided to base our mission on the eee concept. education – improving knowledge is the key that allows to understand how constantly developing technology affects political decision making, civil society participation, economic and social tendencies, legal issues, cultural identities and moral ideas. therefore we not only conduct active research projects ourselves, but also encourage everyone to question evolving standards and norms. excellence – our field raises new questions every day. we do our best to answer them and then we do a bit more. exchange – as an independent think tank, we aim to share our knowledge with policy makers, civil socie
