baltic startup mafia is a podcast and page on facebook and linkedin, where anyone in the world can get quick and easy access to startup news from three countries in the baltic region: latvia, lithuania, and estonia. the #balticmafia movement was born together with the first startup activists in the region. they used #balticmafia hashtag to tell their success stories to the world. my name is ieva treija and in one way or another, i have been connected to the latvian startup ecosystem for nearly 10 years. for the past four years, i have been the editor of "labs of latvia" - an online resource for startup, technology, science, and commercialization. with the renewal of the #balticmafia project, i would also like to spread the word around the baltic countries about success stories here in order to unite all three countries in the pursuit of talent, money and success.
