bambike of america is located in mount vernon, wa and dedicated to providing you with a customized bike to accommodate your sense of adventure or your daily commute. we will spend time with you to build a bicycle to fit your needs. we import our bamboo materials straight from the makers. bambike is an ecological friendly company based in the philippines whose goal is to grow the local economy with community development and fair-trade labor. our bike builders come from gawad kalinga, a community development organization for the poor, working to bring an end to poverty. programs that include scholarships, a weekly feeding program for children, as well as a bamboo nursery for reforestation. bambike america is also committed to helping the local community in skagit county. all the sales from bambike will be used to assist children so that they may participate in soccer programs. the much needed funding will provide underprivileged children access to coaching, games and equipment.
