bamboo ecotours is a ugandan based tour company that was founded to promote tourism as a means to transform communities out of poverty. we link travelers to authentic cultural and local experiences that directly benefit the traveler and the local communities. we invest 25% of our incomes directly into community projects such as building schools, water catchment systems and health centers. we also employ tour guides from the local community and encourage them to invest their earned incomes into profit generating enterprises as a way to break the cycle of poverty. we also offer volunteer opportunities to travelers who wish to combine travel with a social mission. for people interested in adventure and eco-friendly tours around uganda, bamboo ecotours offers wildlife tours, gorilla trekking tours, chimp tracking, cultural tours and education exchange trips for students from all over the world.
