Bams the Baker

my name is amber, but those who love me call me bams. my menu is made with a whole lot of love, natural ingredients and my trusty kitchenaid professional 600 series. my journey to baking cakes began with a red dye allergy. i noticed boxed cakes and icings (even yellow and white mixes!) had red dye in their lists of mostly unpronounceable ingredients. with the help of some beloved family recipes, classic cookbooks and my baking hero's, i taught myself how to bake from scratch! all of my cakes are made with some or all of the following ingredients: flour, sugar, baking soda, aluminum-free baking powder, salt, nielsen-massey pure extracts, land o'lakes butter, organic and hormone-free eggs, gourmet buttermilk, organic milk, pure vegetable oil, powdered sugar, cream cheese, organic fruit, godiva chocolate, ghirardelli cocoa powder and organic nuts.
