overview: abnaa el ghad (banati) foundation was established in 2010 to protect and support children at risk, including children in street situations and those deprived of parental care. such children are vulnerable and lead dangerous lives exposing them to different forms of exploitation as well as mental, physical and sexual abuse. mission: through our mobile unit, reception center and shelters, banati provides a comprehensive range of high quality services which include psycho-social, legal, educational, medical and rehabilitative support. all our service providers undergo continous capacity building to ensure that we always offer a high-quality of care. the foundation aims to change negative public views of children at risk. it also lobbies for the enforcement of laws and decrees pertaining to child protection in egypt and the middle east through its work with governmental and non-governmental partners. vision: providing a second chance to children at risk and empowering them
