(vic) pty. ltd. was established in 1913, and has been operated by the bancroft family over four generations since inception. in 1961, the bancroft family occupied the present site in toorak road, south yarra. importantly – bancrofts was the first drycleaner in the southern hemisphere to launch the new high technology “green earth®” cleaning process – which uses a form of silicone to clean garments and furnishings. the main customer benefits are softer, fresher garments – with no smell! the bancrofts store and operating plant are "state of the art". the most modern machinery and equipment has been installed for the benefit of you, our valued customer and our equally valued staff. the store offers our customers a full range of services and operates seven days a week (excluding statutory holidays).
