bandaidz is a music/social/dating app that relies on proximity based location notifications to alert people that an event (gig) has been created near them. when this happens (specific to a radius chosen by the individual) they may also view other peoples profiles that have been invited to this gig in the same area. the app will then act as a dating platform and people can match and chat for free without restriction. these same people can also “discover” artists nearby them based on gps location. view the artists profile, add the artists music to their “tune bank”, favourite them etc. it is mainly a location based app and it’s purpose is to engage artists with potential audience in hopes of getting them to attend the artists gigs. it also allows artists to send “push messages” into the crowd (also location based) containing their details, so when a person is nearby an artist, they will receive the message with socicial media links and whatever the artist has written in the message. ba
