Bandhwari Womens Project

this women's economic empowerment project began when students from florida international university (fiu) adopted bandhwari village in 2016 as part of an alternative spring break trip to india. students supply the women of bandhwari with product ideas, fabrics, designs, and business guidance, so that they can become more financially independent with proceeds from their work returning to them after their hand-made products are sold in the u.s. by fiu students. the partnership continues to flourish, with the support of incentive foundation, a local indian non-profit. to support this project and purchase some of these amazing products click on the visit website link.
