Baragan

the music of baragan takes you on a journey, with folky pop tunes and subtle piano melodies that were born on the road and ripened on the streets. baragan is inspired by the street musicians’ life, with its coincidental encounters and its drifting existence. in 2013, jense meek started a road trip with his blue accordion, and after two years of wandering he returned as baragan and with the songs for the album i wish my heart was a simple place. this album tried to capture a bit of the burning desire for the unknown, the longing for distant lands behind the hills, the yearning to be yanked from the known. it tries to resurrect the stream of encounters that make you drift away to new love, new friendship and the ever unreachable horizon.
