Barbados Dance Project

the barbados dance project aims to educate, collaborate, and engage with the barbadian community through dance. since 2014, bdp has made a major impact not only in our students lives through dance, but in their every day journey. the barbados dance project is a catalyst that inspire the community on the island, to unite together through movement. bdp stand on 3 pillars educate: summer intensive and the lab collaborate: donate engage: ensemble to date, 5 international guest tutors have been a part of the program with extensive trained from prestigious institutions such as the juilliard school, the ailey school, and boston conservatory. they have also danced in companies such as ballet hispanico(new york), trey mcintyre project(boise id), national theater mannheim(germany), luna negra dance theater(chicago), and göteborgsoperans danskompani(sweden). our past students have continued their studies at some of the world’s finest institutions including, barbados
