Barking Dog Creations

barking dog creations was founded in 2007 after i adopted a nine year old boxer female named tilly through florida boxer rescue. i wanted to help this wonderful organization but realized i would be a “foster flunky,” keeping any boxer in search of a “furever” home, so i decided to help them through my art. barking dog creations annually donates a custom pet portrait to the “boxer bash.” in 2010 the company created the event theme and image, “a new leash on life,” for the annual art of rescue fund raising event. as an artist i wanted to represent the joy of new experience and love animals feel upon being rescued. i am in awe of the work and sacrifice members of rescue organizations and shelter make each day to help the wonderful animals who rely on them for their care and well-being. my hope is my final image portrays the joy we all hope to experience in our lives.
