barkley and co is wakefield's first purpose built doggy day care centre. we are situated in the thornes area, a short country walk away from pugneys country park, sandal castle and the wakefield to thornes lock section of the river calder. within barkley and co doggy day care centre you will find our friendly and experienced staff ready to offer your dog a safe and secure environment to socialise and spend their time playing on the exciting equipment. whether that is in our smaller dog, puppy or larger dog area there is something for every dog. this leaves you with peace of mind that your dog is having a great time, keeping physically and mentally active while you carry out your daily activities. we are open monday - friday with drop off from 7.30am and collection up to 6.30pm. saturday's 8am - 3pm. we also have an onsite cafe serving food to day care centre customers and the general public alike and certainly not forgetting to tell you ... your dogs are also welcome in the
