the barnabas project uganda the barnabas project uganda was founded in february, 2011 by edwin mbaziira. the organisation seeks to support busoke village, which is home to 350 households and is located approximately 30 km north from kampala, uganda’s capitol. our achievements so far the bp-u has started its own primary school and built temporary school structures, which can only hold a maximum of 100 children so far and is therefore in need of expansion. the npo has also been able to build a small house for the teachers to stay at and also provided several secure veils with clean water around the village. additionally the bp-u has helped some of the young adults in finding jobs and has supported women in the community in making there local crafts and the youth making some bricks to sell in order to created some small businesses and income generating activities.
