Barossa & Light Regional Development Board Inc.

a partnership between the barossa council, light regional council, the state government of south australia and regional industry. our responsibility is clear. we are charged with the job of facilitating economic growth and activity for the barossa & light region of sa. we’re a community and business driven organisation. our independent board comprises local government, business, industry and community representatives, selected and appointed through a process of public nomination. today, bld is included in the decision-making process for development in our region, along with our council and state government partners. bld consults widely with community and business leaders to identify and prioritise issues that have the potential to add value to and stimulate the continued economic and social growth of our community. now merged into regional development australia, barossa inc.
