this research study aims to understand perspectives about potential barriers to data sharing by government and commercial organisations. we are looking to recruit people who meet the following criteira: * be aged 18 years or over * currently work for an organisation in australia if you decide to take part, we will ask you to complete an online questionnaire, which should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. we hope to use the information we get from this research study to better understand which barriers to data sharing are most significant, and how barriers differ between different types of organisations. we hope to use the findings to contribute towards better facilitation of data sharing, particularly to inform public policy making or decision making by governments, including aligning of motivations between data owners and data users, informing government policy on data sharing, and guiding directions for future research. this study is being carried out by david tang of in
