barrington youth basketball (byb) is a non-profit, no-cut feeder program for boys 2nd through 8th grades residing in barrington school district 220 in the village of barrington, illinois. our goal is to teach fundamental offensive and defensive basketball skills, along with team concepts, to better prepare the player for the next level. our overall basketball philosophy direction and support comes from the bhs athletic department and bhs men’s head varsity basketball coach. our travel teams participate in the mid-suburban league-based feeder league and select area tournaments. these travel teams are selected by non-parent professional coaches who comprise the byb feeder coaching staff.
