since its inception in 1992 as the first label in new england to develop & promote local artists, success of the label & production company has allowed regional & national expansion into other markets. we pride ourselves on promoting new england talent, including photographers, engineers, recording & mastering studios, graphic designers, newspapers & television markets.barrio records produces great product & also believes strongly in giving boston & new england a presence at the national & international level. we do this by participating in such prestigious events as the "radio y musica" convention in los angeles, & the international convention in miami with the illustrious "billboard magazine." taking part in the "latin grammy awards" as a company & a voting member. in addition to local & regional productions, barrio records has worked with walt disney on a joint project with boston company cake & candles. we have worked with univision & with boston television station wuni originating
