bart shaw, aia is the founder of bart shaw architect, a design practice focused on the emotive power of form, and the ability of materials and individuals to more deeply respond to each other. prior to this, bart was a design architect at hahnfeld hoffer stanford architects in fort worth and hks architects in dallas. his notable projects included the meacham aviation and terminal building, st. philopateer coptic church, pappagallo - sundance square, and rattikin square courtyard and adaptive reuse. in 2008, bart received an honor award from the fort worth chapter of the american institute of architects for lift home: an unfolding solution for rapidly deployable disaster relief housing. the following year, was awarded a studio award from the texas society of architects. in 2010 bart's entry in a holocaust memorial competition was selected by richard meier and daniel libeskind as a finalist from an international field of 715 entries. he is a recipient of the young professional award from
