barton brownsdon and sadler is a wine agent and distributor, supplying the independent trade throughout the uk. our aim is to source and bring to market good quality, interesting wine from both the old and new world that represents fair value, whilst offering this wine at competitive prices and providing an efficient and personal service to our clients. barton, brownsdon and sadler was started in 1985 by john brownsdon mw, capitalising on his experience of sourcing french wine and knowledge of the uk market. in 2003 john brownsdon retired and two brothers, giles and nick budibent, took over the company. they have significantly broadened the portfolio to include more of europe and the new world, as well as holding more stock in the uk.
