Base: Experimental Arts + Space

base: experimental arts & space is a 2,000 sq ft georgetown studio in the equinox family of art makers. base welcomes nearly 500 movement and multidisciplinary artists through its doors each year through all-access residencies curated by local art makers, affordable rental options for independent makers and producers, and 12 minutes max (a production base inherited from on the boards that presents 12 minute works from six or more artists). founded by artists dayna hanson, peggy piacenza, and dave proscia, the space operates by artists for artists.
