Bash Street Theatre

founded in 1991 bash street theatre has developed a national and international reputation for lively street theatre shows combining physical theatre, circus skills, silent comedy and live music. our early shows were influenced by a year long visit to brittany where we worked with a circus school and staged our first production at the festival les arts dans la rue in morlaix. we have since performed at most of the major street theatre festivals in the uk, and over the last four years we have worked regularly throughout europe at major festivals in germany, norway, poland, holland, belgium, france, spain, italy and hungary. in 2006, we won an award for the best street theatre show at the tàrrega international street theatre festival with our highly successful show cliffhanger! this show is still proving very popular and was performed in macau, china and south korea in 2010. in 2008 we developed a new show the station that had eight commissioners and ace, it has subsequently toured the uk
