our mission we design, produce and deliver high-quality, unique, hand-crafted jewelry using only materials from the most ethical and environmentally-responsible sources. our company founded in 2013 founded in 2013 by a third-generation jeweler, bashford jewelry is both our passion and our livelihood. it’s also how we connect to our community; how we live out our values; and how we give back to causes dear to us. having been in and around the jewelry business for so long, we have seen many of the industry’s sore spots: child labor; workers unfairly paid and forced to work in horrific conditions; gems and precious metals mined with no thought given to environmental impact. we spotted a need for a new, more ethical and environmentally friendly business model. and so was born bashford jewelry. above standards in keeping with our values of cognizance and transparency, we go well beyond accepted standards in sourcing all of our materials, particularly diamonds. we use recycled precio
