for over 10 years, basic instructions has been a home base for the creative works of scott and missy meyer. from writing to art to publishing, we've worked in a variety of media. scott is the proud author and artist behind the web comic "basic instructions", and has three collections of strips in print: "help is on the way", "made with 90% recycled art", and "curse of the masking tape mummy". scott is also currently working on a three-book series, the first of which, "off to be the wizard", was released in april of 2013. after a successful launch in self-publishing, the three books will be released by amazon publishing imprint 47north in 2014 and 2015. missy runs much of the paperwork backside of the business, and has produced several written and artistic works of her own, including the new webcomic "holiday doodles".
