Bat - Bio Auth Team

bat is a non-profit organization of students of aristotle university of thessaloniki associated with life sciences. founded in 2014 by students of biology; within a year was spread into other scientific fields with the cooperation of students from other departments of the aristotle university (e.g. engineering faculty, school of chemistry and medicine). our goals are: - to promote the science of biology and interdisciplinary scientific approaches within the students' society - spread the word - awareness about social issues related to public health or environment - further education: informative seminars about postgraduate studies, internships and workshops - interdisciplinary cooperation with other students' organizations to achieve the aforementioned goals we voluntarily organize events and local actions. so far we have carried out outdoor experiments and exhibitions, a two-day campaign about hiv, an environmental day seminar about planet water supplies and ecology of water ecosystem
