through numerous educational services the bauhaus-archiv / museum für gestaltung communicates profound insights into the bauhaus collection and the school’s programme. over the course of the decades the institution has built up the world’s largest collection of materials on the subject. to be able to present the collection more comprehensively, the bauhaus-archiv will be supplemented by a new building on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the bauhaus. the museum is now closed until 2022, due to construction works. in the meantime, you can visit the temporary bauhaus-archiv in berlin-charlottenburg.
