bau jazz has been training jazz students in order to spread and endear jazz music to the large masses since january 2013, with a jazz certificate program that was initially opened in bau istanbul. in september 2014, bahçesehir university jazz academy master’s degree in jazz composition and performance was established in collaboration with sound technologies program and since then holding certificate and master’s degree educations to train the young generation jazz students and be the lead in jazz education in turkey. we have been holding regular certificate programs and masterclasses in leading bau campuses mainly istanbul, rome and berlin with internationally acclaimed artists and schools such as aaron goldberg, judie niemack, steve williams, roni ben-hur, amy london, duduka de fonseca, partnership in september 2016 barry harris masterclass in rome, a summer camp in collaboration with new school for jazz and contemporary music etc… starting from june 2017 bau jazz certificate prog
