since 2003 bahc has been a catalyst for improving the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (i/dd) by creating and maintaining quality housing opportunities that meet the needs of the individual and the community. since 2003 bahc has grown to $69 million in assets and is a respected and stable 501(c)(3)organization. we own and maintain 46 properties that provide amazing homes for people with i/dd who are placed by our partnerships with san andreas and golden gate regional centers. our vision: all people with i/dd have access to affordable, community-based housing that meets their individual preferences and support needs. our mission: to be a catalyst for improving the lives of people with i/dd by creating and maintaining quality housing opportunities that meet the needs of the individual and the community.
