bayerngas norge is one of the fastest growing oil and gas companies on the norwegian continental shelf. we are an independent and value-driven company with activities in norway, denmark and the uk. our mission is to provide germany and austria with natural gas, in line with the long-term strategy of our owners. bringing gas to europe is important both to reduce dependency on russian gas and in order to replace solar energy and wind power on days with cloudy skies and no wind. early 2014 bayerngas norge had 90 employees of which 80 in norway, 8 in the uk and 2 in denmark. 12 nationalities were represented and 47% were female, we strive to have the best qualified person in each position of the company. this is why we have close to equal gender representation at all levels.
