bayesia usa was created in 2010 to serve as the north american sales and consulting organization for bayesia s.a.s., headquartered in laval, france. their mission is to promote bayesian networks as a new framework for knowledge discovery and reasoning within complex domains. founded by two professors in the field of artificial intelligence in 2001, bayesia s.a.s. is a pioneer in developing research software based on the bayesian networks paradigm. the recent 5.3 release of bayesialab is the world’s only comprehensive software package for learning, editing and analyzing bayesian networks. bayesialab provides perhaps the easiest way to apply artificial intelligence tools for data mining and knowledge discovery in a wide range of fields. bayesialab leverages all of the powerful properties of bayesian networks and integrates them into a single, user-friendly desktop application, which is available for virtually all platforms (windows, os x, unix, etc.).
