Bayne Academy

bayne academy is an organization which strives to empower high school students with the ability to discover their passions and cultivate their dedication to continued learning. we are in the process of establishing specialized curriculums at a kipp philadelphia school and aim to provide all kids with the financial opportunity to attend. bayne academy was co-founded by bayne shaifer and elizabeth dankoski in response to the fact that many students are discouraged from pursuing a college education, or drop out of college prematurely. we aim to help students find their passions and therefore develop the drive and motivation to continue to learn. we also aim to provide scholarships for students to allow all with the opportunity to access these benefits. bayne shaifer was inspired to start the organization from a very personal experience. although she had previously sometimes felt discouraged at school, an experience studying at a specialized criminal justice academy in jupiter high school,
