my name is bianca bird, and i’m an experienced professional makeup artist and hair stylist based in johannesburg, gauteng. i am available for photo shoots, head shot makeup, special effects makeup and hair & makeup for special occasions and weddings. i trained at the kohl makeup academy in gauteng, completing an intensive course in daytime, evening and bridal makeup, fashion / runway and beauty makeup, drag, avant garde, body art, airbrush and special effects (sfx) makeup. this training included a course in hair styling. i also completed a facetoface design school course for day, evening and bridal makeup. some of my makeup work has been featured in your pregnancy and baba & kleuter magazines. i carry a range of premium products in my kit, including cosmetics from kryolan, mac, ben nye and mehron. i am also vtct (itec) certified in infection prevention (covid-19) for makeup services.
