bc career development association (bccda) is a non-profit professional association, and the sole certifying body for the certified career development practitioner (ccdp) designation in bc. in addition to the annual career development conference in march, we provide training and networking opportunities year round in order to support career practitioners in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning. we believe that knowledge sharing is key to a healthy and sustainable sector. the mentorship project is our latest effort to bring together emerging professionals who are eager to learn and established career practitioners who are keen to share their knowledge and expertise. our mandate bccda's mandate is to provide a central networking, education, and training service to develop the knowledge and skills of career practitioners, thus enhancing their effectiveness for serving their clients. bccda has an active board of directors dedicated to serving members and career professiona
