mission statement the british columbia society of fellows is a registered non-profit society of graduates of the insurance institute of canada’s fellowship program, formed to provide a forum for members to exchange views on insurance and related matters, encourage members to continue their professional development, improve the standard of knowledge in the profession and education in the general insurance profession, and publicise the designation of fcip. we hold monthly luncheon meetings with speakers on topics of broad interest, encompassing both insurance and non-insurance topics. we provide proctors for institute examinations, provide many instructors from our ranks. on the social side, we run a very popular golf tournament.
