bdmakerspace is a campaign to bring a community workshop to the bromsgrove and droitwich areas of worcestershire in the uk midlands. we love "making stuff"​, from electronics and robotics to woodwork and knitting. makerspaces bring communities together - regardless of age, gender or ability - to learn, share skills and work together on projects. if you've ever wanted to learn a new skill, it may have been difficult to find someone to teach you or somewhere to go for help. makerspaces join the dots between those with skills and experience, and those who are enthusiastic about learning. our ultimate aim is to have our own well equipped workshop premises, with spaces for electronics, robotics, metalwork, woodwork, textiles, art and 3d print. until then, we're running a series of free local events including a repair café and a tech night. see our website for full details! our most important resource is people. if you'd like to get involved, please get in touch!
