Be Better Today

in 2012 my life changed forever. no parent ever wants to, nor should they endure the loss of a child. no matter whether it is sudden or prolonged, it is a pain that can never be healed but it can be walked through. it can be trans-formative in how you walk your daily life. no matter what our belief system is, we all know our days are numbered on this earth. we just don't know when that number comes up do we? be better today is about taking grief, loss, tragedy, hardship or anything else that is clouding your outlook and turning it into something that can not only change your life, but change that of a stranger. be better today is about waking up every day with the desire to go to bed a better person than the one that crawled out from the covers in the morning. even if it is just in the very slightest. getting up used to be painful, breathing used to be painful, getting through one day at a time without my son used to be painful. it still is, but i took what could have destroyed me
