as a martha beck life coach, my aim is to provide you with breathing space to rediscover and connect with your true self which holds all the wisdom and clarity you need to be happy. the focus of the life coaching is to work towards creating a happier, more magical life by exploring existing limiting beliefs and self sabotaging behaviours and releasing all that is not serving you any longer. there are many, many different theories and styles of life coaching. what i like about martha beck’s life coaching approach is that she combines and makes use of the latest research in human behaviour, methods in neuro linguistic programming (nlp), draws on several eastern philosophical concepts, adds a healthy dose of humour and spirituality, and grounds her work in her own life experience. in addition, i also refer to other authors’ work you may know, including bryon katie, eckhard tolle, caroline myss, deb shaprio, louise l hayes, russ harris, and judy klipin.
