be your best asia has existed for many years in the mind of captain les gordon and seen in different incarnations since 2000. the mission has always been clear and that is to empower others to live passionate and inspirational lives that are meaningful, purposeful and abundant. about captain les gordon les gordon had a clear vision at the young age of 12 after seeing the movie the great waldo pepper staring the dashing robert redford. it may be what you would call a “defining moment” in young leslie’s life. he had a very clear vision that he would become a pilot when he grew up. it was a very big dream for a boy from a simple and quiet neighbourhood in brisbane, australia. if he listened to critics or skeptics he may have reconsidered. the typical cynics may have said, “you don’t have the right education” or “you need a lot of money to learn to become a pilot” or worse, “you don’t have what it takes…” whether they did not speak up or if les just didn’t notice, he went on to join the ai
