beacon college prep inc. is an independently managed non-profit organization authorized to operate tuition- free public charter schools for students in miami-dade. the school was founded in 2014 with 100 students and ten staff members in three retrofitted portable classrooms in miami's liberty city neighborhood. we've since grown to a school with over 400 students, thirty-five staff members, and one promise: to provide a first-class educational experience for elementary students living in liberty city and opa locka. we strive each day to deliver on that promise and prepare our students for the rigors of life. by challenging them academically, fostering admirable character traits, and cultivating their talents and interests, we work proudly in service of our mission and on behalf of students who deserve the world. visit our website at http://beaconpride.org to learn more about our school's mission and to apply for employment.
