Bear Mountain, Montserrat

montserrat is a peaceful island, somewhere you feel free of the constraints of modern living. a place where your anxieties slip away and where you can reconnect with yourself and your family. we have strong family ties to montserrat and bought our beloved bear mountain in 2017 from a family who loved it since it was built. we are continuing the tradition of bear mountain being a family retreat and sharing it with other gentle souls who would like to visit montserrat and stay in a much loved family home. bear mountain was built in the mid 1990’s on a southwest facing slope overlooking the belham valley in a traditional tropical caribbean style with a spacious veranda, a shaded loggia, double height pitched ceilings, natural timbers and cooling cross ventilation. guests less used to the tropical heat will be relieved to hear of the more recent addition of air conditioning in every bedroom.
