bears’ lair is an initiative of sparkly frog clan productions inc., a 100% indigenous-owned and inspired media empowerment company that decided it’s time for a new reality tv show to showcase and celebrate the diversity, resiliency and ‘spirit of indigenous businesses’ across the nation. the indigenous owners, producers and directors of bear’s lair tv applied 5 ‘indigenous twists’ to typical business competitions to create a ‘reality tv show with real impact.’ bears’ lair will highlight the journeys of 18 diverse indigenous entrepreneurs competing to earn their share of the $180,000 in prize money that will be awarded by ‘the bears’ and our online community during the inaugural season of the series. indigenous contestants appearing on bears' lair tv receive group and individual coaching support to prepare and polish their pitches to a panel of indigenous business expert judges – the bears – over 9 episodes the series. season 1 will be filmed in march 2022 at various locations in bc
