Beat Brigade Drumming

beat brigade is a developmental pre-k music program. the program introduces children to basic music concepts through the use of non-pitched percussive instruments such as the west african djembe drum. at a time when music is being continuously trimmed from educational budgets and curriculums despite the well documented correlation between musical education and it's benefits on child development, beat brigade's goal is to introduce children to the benefits of making music at an early stage in a creative and inclusive learning-based environment using a research-based curriculum.
