Beaufort Water Search and Rescue

beaufort water search and rescue is an all-volunteer organization based in port royal, south carolina serving northern beaufort county . our primary missions are to help boaters in distress and to conduct search and rescue missions to support and assist the beaufort county sheriff's office, south carolina department of natural resources, united states coast guard, and state and federal law enforcement agencies. hundreds of man-hours are spent annually on search-and-rescue missions for stranded boaters, support of local authorities in drowning victim searches, water safety support at marine events and boating-safety education. all activities of the beaufort water search and rescue are executed by experienced volunteers at no charge to boaters in need of assistance.
