Beaumont & Charlesworth

the names beaumont & charlesworth date back further than the 1900's and was the catalyst in which we created our brand. the story begins with the charlesworth family, an affluent group of farmers based in north yorkshire, england. there were also the beaumont family, a working class family based in west yorkshire, england. the bond between these two families was made on the 5th september 1953 when mr charlesworth and miss beaumont married. both families had very different values, yet at the same time, both had strong similarities. such as being hard working, versatile and finally, having an entrepreneurial spirit. we wanted to ensure that our products and brand encapsulated these three values: we wanted to develop products which are durable enough to cope with our busy/often unpredictable and hard working lives. it must be versatile enough to look fantastic everyday, be it a morning out in the fields or at a black tie dinner. both families maintained their own enterprises which were bu
