Beautiful Canoe

beautiful canoe is aston university's student-run software development company. we craft bespoke software according to our clients'​ needs, while developing the people who do it. each summer we run an internship programme, where students work on a range of projects for our clients. in addition to the practical experience of working on a project with a real client, interns receive hands-on training in agile team software development, that complements the more formal side of their education. we make use of the latest technologies and in-house coaching, to ensure the highest quality in both software for our clients and experience for our interns. we are a non-profit-making organisation associated with aston university, reinvesting our surplus to develop the technology leaders of the future. our work is created by students, however we are led by a team drawing on experience in academia, commercial software development, charity governance and agile team coaching.
