beauty and the bolt provides steam education through media creation, resources, and educational events to engage and uplift young women and minority populations, while providing stem educational supplies and services to institutions. students of all backgrounds hear a lot about engineering, steam, computer science, etc - but often it’s just buzzwords. gone are the days of shop class, and even robotics teams are rare as budgets shrink and student numbers grow. beauty and the bolt wants to change that – through online steam curriculums and in-person, on-location exposure sessions at primary learning institutions. we aim to expose youth to stem while developing skills that can be transferred to their collegiate, professional, and personal lives.
