beauty bar & supply llc. was founded in april 2015. the company is female owned and operated by marie messick. marie is a graduate of north carolina central university where she received a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration. with her business education and her experience in the personal care industry, she plans to grow her company into a powerhouse in the beauty supply industry. the first kiosk opened october 2015 in cross creek mall, fayetteville, nc. the kiosk featured brands such as shea moisture, keraveda, uncle funky’s daughter, obia natural's, tress therapy and tgin to just name a few. the kiosk was the first venture to help meet the needs of those wishing to utilize natural and/or organic products on their hair. the kiosk was closed in december of 2016. on march 31 2017, a new brink and mortar location was opened. the retail space is 1400 square feet. the first sections features an assortment of hair and skin products. the second section is devoted to wigs
