jason ackerman memorial scholarships are our primary mission. awards are granted annually through an application process and chosen by the scholarship committee, a qualified assembly of educators and business professionals, with the goal of distributing funding to applicants with the greatest financial need and the greatest desire to be a positive influence in our community. applications are available on-line early spring with a deadline for submission early may each year. scholarships to be awarded in june. funds are distributed in july directly to community colleges, four-year universities and vocational training schools within the state of florida. scholarships are renewable each year with funds being given directly to the awarded student’s program of choice. we also aim to uplift our students with “be easy...” experiences that provide entertaining experiences and escapes for those fighting to survive life's challenges.
